I'm back. I'm really glad to be back. Thanks for all the well wishes for my Dad. I brought him back with me to Texas, and we are playing everything by ear. I really missed you guys-reading
everyones blogs and keeping up with you. I thought I'd do a short post about the 3-yes 3 snows we had in
Arkansas while I was
there. This is the view out my Dad's window. It was gorgeous!
This is my
van after it was pushed to the shoulder, because I was sliding down the hill backwards. Not fun!
Here's the hill. Didn't know it was icy-
after all I'm used to Texas!
I stayed busy reading and stitching in between helping my Dad out. I'll share more tomorrow-just wanted to pop in and say there's no place like home!

Hi Leslie!
ReplyDeleteOH! I'm so happy to see a post from you! I've been looking in every day, hoping all was well and for a word. I'm glad you were able to bring your Daddy back with you so you can lavish him with TLC. :)
We're still on a roller coaster ride over here but I just now received a call from my dad's girlfriend and she said today is a good day - my dad was even asking for ice chips - he hasn't been able to take anything by mouth, hoping he can manage that without aspirating.
Sending you lots of hugs and wishes for your Dad to feel spry again shortly!
Sally, your pal the limp noodle, signing off :)
Glad to see your blogging again. I adore the embroidery! Can't wait to see the finished product.

Glad you made it home safely, after having to deal with those treacherous roads! I hope all is well with your Dad, and I look forward to seeing what kind of pretties you stitched up!
ReplyDeleteLove your embroidery and I hope things work out with your Dad. I bet you're just glad to be home safely now. Seems all of the US has had a bad winter this year.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are home safe & I hope That your Dad is doing better. He will be in my prayers .

Hi Leslie!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your sweet comments, I so appreciate them and you.
I'm so sorry to hear how weak your father is, so very sad and scary for everyone. Sending hugs and prayers and wishes for a return to strength for him.
What a gorgeous place he calls home! Did you grow up there?
Thinking of you!
