A few more Valentine pic's. I added a few light pink touches to the dining room. I do like having a neutral background, so I can decorate it for any season.
Here's some more felt conversation hearts and some pink threads and vintage Valentine.
I finally made it to the thrift stores last week. I found this new cherry platter-couldn't pass it up, because it went so well with my stuff.
Here it is in the Valentine hutch.
I also found this cute cup. It has Termocrisa on the bottom, made in Mexico. I think it's like Mexican Pyrex. It's the second piece I've found. I just love the little picket fence design.
Haven't had much time for anything-I'm in the midst of painting cabinet fronts and drawers all over the house. I had to paint in 2 parts-uppers and lowers, because I didn't have enough room to spread everything out. Half way there. I can't wait for this project to be over, at least my back can't!
I hope the weather is warming up for you out there in the cold parts of the world. It's been super warm here-not the the usual January weather, but I'll take it any day. Happy Week to you!Leslie
What fun treasures. Love the display under your cloche. You are one busy lady with your cupboards. Can't wait for the big reveal!
ReplyDeleteI to love the sweet little display under your cloche...:) Too cute! The cherry platter and cup are adorable too! I love vintage and thrifty too!

Such cute additions! I so hear you on the sore back... DIY takes on added aches and pains as we get older! Looking forward to the reveal!
ReplyDeleteLove the cloche in your dining room. Pink and read are great Valentine colors. I'm sure your cabinets will be lovely. I've never seen Pyrex made in Mexico. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteYour little cup is adorable! Our oldest daughter collects pyrex, but I know she doesn't have any Mexican Pyrex. I'm on the lookout now!
ReplyDeleteYou are going to be so happy with your painted cabinets! It's a lot of work, but the results are so worth it. Can't wait to see your reveal!
I didn't know there was Pyrex made in Mexico. I love that pattern. It's adorable. More cute valentine decor. Good luck with the painting. I don't love painting cabinets either. Good luck with the painting project.

Leslie, Your Valentine hutch is so lovely! And your hearts! I must put them on my list to make for next year. Your home is always so inviting and inspiring to me. I love to visit here! E
ReplyDeleteLove that little vignette inside the cloche, and your valentine hutch!
ReplyDeleteYou're the second blogger today that's painting their cabinets. I desperately need to do that this Spring. The "Pumpkin Chiffon" color that was on ours before we moved in is starting to peek through the white, and it is quite revolting!
Love that sweet cherry plate but you know how I love red in the Kitchen!!

Hi Leslie,
ReplyDeleteI'm a night owl tonight. I have been going through my favorite blogs to begin catching up from the time I was away for the birth of my grandbaby. Oh...How wonderful your bright and cheery red features are...I love them all! Your hutch is absolutely wonderful and just in time for Valentine's Day, too.
Thanks for putting a smile on my face.
Smiles,
Carolynn xoxo
