A Bit of Green

I decided to take pictures of Greens today. I added the little club cookie cutter to my little Irish boy for St. Patrick's Day.
I added my chalkware sheep to this. I found that pretty plate at the thrift store.
I have always loved this little cottage picture. It's hard to photograph with the glass.
I always pick these up, mostly for the frames, but sometimes you get a really nice picture inside.
The one above I copied from a thrift store book-Joan Walsh Anglund.I love her artwork.
I broke my glass in the bathroom and grabbed a fireking mug. Works perfect!
You've seen this antique hand mirror before. It was my Mom's and hangs in our bathroom .
Those are my random greens. This is what I've been doing. Does your work table look like this when you are in the middle of a project? I only have about 4 square inches of space to work. Putting together Easter wreaths, and little bunnies. I'll share when I get something finished.
Thank you for all the wonderful comments. I do think that's the best part about blogging. Plus the fact that it keeps me motivated and inspired. Hope you guys have a great week! It was 88 degrees here on Monday-broke all the records, but today it's back to normal. What a taste of spring-I mean summer!

  1. I have gotten much Easter decorating done, but nothing for St. Patrick's day. I like what you have done. Maybe I will add a bit more of green as well :) Blessings

  3. Yikes! I can't believe it's already that warm where you are! I love JWA too. (I have several of her paperdolls from magazines.) Also love your green fireking and lambs and thatched cottages. So perfect fot St P. time of year. Your little bunny looks so sweet. I'm afraid my craft space looks 5 times worse than that when I'm working on something, especially when I don't have a clear view of exactly what I want to make... like right now. Can't put any of it away, because I'm still deciding what I need. It's just plain mayhem.

  4. Love all your fabulous greens. Your sheep are darling. You have the best frames. I seemed to have skipped St. Patty's day and jumped right into Easter. Probably because I'm so ready for spring. We were skating on our backyard rink last night. By the weekend, it should be fairly melted. Come on SPRING!

  5. Such pretty green pieces... love the old frames and art too. I have the exact same 4" square of usable space on my table. :) The bow on the cookie cutter was genius by the way. :)

  9. Your little cottage print is so sweet! I've got a set of small ceramic discs by Joan Walsh Anglund for every month of the year. Now why didn't I think of using the March one in a display?! They've been packed away for decades and maybe it's time to take them out again. I love her art, too. :)

Can't wait to see what sweetness you're creating in your 4 inches of space!

  10. Hi Leslie!

So sorry to be late in visiting, busy busy trying to get my swap giftie done. Very nerve wracking.

What a lot of charming greens you have! Love everything.

And yup, my crafting area is the same shrinking size when I'm working, so funny. If only you could see the chaos right now --- I've got the whole room in a tizzy, you'd be cracking up.

Happy weekend and wishing you lots of fun Easter crafting!

  11. Your greens are so pretty. I agree with you I love your cottage picture. My work space seems to always be cluttered. Just can not seem to keep it straightened.

  12. Everything you showed today is so pretty. I can't wait to see what you are doing with the bunnies. Felt bunnies! and the plastic ones, too. Those are wreaths in the back? I have a huge table surface and manage to mess it up so badly, I barely have room to work! I put up a bit of the GREEN, too. Spring is such a fun time for crafting.

what a wonderful and cheery post. You've celebrated St. Patty's in style with all your green touches. You have so many special touches throughout your home.
Your craft table looks like mine right now. I am working on my spoolies for Elizabeth's Easter Swap. This is my first swap and I'm having fun with it.
I hope you have a delightful day and a great week, my friend.
