Valentine Pretties and Gallery Wall

This is a photo from a few years ago and you old followers will recognize these pillows. I thought they were appropriate for this Valentines week. I made these pillows awhile back and used vintage valentines for the pictures. Here's how I did them. If I made one today I would use Frixion Gel pens (mentioned in the previous post) for the fabric transfer.
The Dollhouse Sweet Shoppe is always busy during Valentines week. They are packing lots of chocolates in pink boxes and wrapping with bakers twine.
If you want to see more of the Dollhouse Sweet Shoppe there's a button above.
I don't think I've shown my mini gallery wall. It's a dead end hallway. To the right is our bedroom. The left door is a closet. I had all the frames and they were mismatched. I spray painted all of them to match.
Some are matted, some are old black and whites, some are colored. It doesn't matter. What ties them together are the matched frames and that they are hung close together.
A little vintage mirror on the right. It kind of helps reflect the light, since it is a dark and tiny hallway.
I found this little quote on Pinterest and just typed it out in Word. I may decide to use that frame for a picture later on. I also might add a few more, although there's not much room left.
Pretty flowers from Hubby this week.

Are you doing anything special for Valentines Day this week? Happy Valentines Day to you! I hope you have a great week!

Your gallery wall in the hallway is such a great spot to showcase your family in photos. Great idea to pull all the frames together with the color. Love the mirror in the hallway too. 4. I love your wall of pictures. We need to seriously spend the time to update our wall art with some additional family pictures. Having them all with black frames ties them all together. You know I love your miniatures. I'm glad you posted this again. It's been ages since I visited your little sweet shop. So fun!

  7. Hi Leslie!
It was so good to meet you yesterday. You're right. It was a bit hard to get to really chat with everyone but we'll be sure and sit with each other next time!
OMGoodness! I love everything on this post! The pillows are adorable and the miniatures are so precious. I bought a doll house kit and opened the box and promptly put it in storage. LOL I think I'm going to buy one of those cute Pottery Barn Kids dollhouses. Then I can just decorate. haha

  8. So much eye candy here, Leslie! Your pillows are just adorable, and you are so creative to come up with the idea to use vintage Valentine's as your design. And your sweet shop is just so sweet!! We're still working on the dollhouse for our granddaughter, and I'd love one for myself so I could decorate it. I guess we never outgrow playing with miniatures, right.

Your gallery wall is filled with fun photos and memories of your family and adds a nice focal point at the end of your hallway.

I hope you have a nice Valentine's Day!
