Extreme Makeover #2

Here is another extreme makeover. This is Max and Son before-
Max and Son after. Much better! They both got their haircuts the same day.Still missing that boy!
Sorry about this pic, blogger won't let me delete it. Although you can see he let his hair grow for a year before he cut it.
Here are some of the garage sale finds from our trip. We didn't have time to do much. You know the show Hoarders? Well, I think my vintage linen piles are getting that way!

I love this pink powder box. Very dainty.
It's finally starting to cool down around here. It's a dark rainy fallish day. One that I've been waiting for. I've been trying to catch up on everyones blogs and getting geared up to do Halloween decor this week Stay tuned.

  3. Oh my what a difference a haircut can make! Your son looks handsome in both pictures but the after shot really brings out his face. My oldest son has had dredlocks for quite sometime and 2 weeks ago cut them off for his final year of college, student teaching and he didn't think it looked professional. I'm so glad he made that decision not only does he look so much better but I didn't tell him to do it!
Max is adorable in his new haircut as well!!
    Fondly,

  4. Hi Leslie!
Boy, what a transformation! From teenager to young man! (being a child of the sixties, I do REALLY like the long hair though - forever a flower child over here teehee) Hey, how tall is that handsome son of yours? I have a lovely 18 year old UCLA-going niece (who is six feet tall!) bwahahahaha
Love your finds and I'm so glad to hear that it's finally cooling down a bit for you there!
    Happy Sunday,
    Sally
P.S. I forgot to say that Max is cutest!

  6. I think they look cute in Both pictures! I kind of miss long hair on guys. Love your garage sale finds. Did you know what the crochet piece that is trimmed in yellow is? You slip a pretty saucer inside and it can be hung on the wall. I always look for these and they are very hard to find. Have a good week! Twyla

  7. Hi Leslie!
I replied to you on my post but thought I'd come over and say Hi here too. I'll be interested to hear what your son thought of the book list - I keep rereading it and seeing titles I missed when I previously scanned it. Wrinkle in Time! I'll have to reread that and see what the brouhaha could be - gosh, I loved that as a child!
    Happy Monday!

P.S. OH! I just read Twyla's post - I love that about the saucer holder, I've never heard or seen one before!

My younger son wore his long for some time and now he has his head shaved so that he has about a half an inch of hair!! All things come to pass I guess!!
