Happy New Year!

Happy 2017! We had a wonderful and relaxing Christmas break. We did lots of visiting and game playing. Sons did lots of baking and cooking.
 Making cinnamon rolls from scratch.
Christmas morning fruit salad with prosecco for breakfast. I love the way they both pitch in and love to help. We ate and ate.
Pie baking son made his wonderful chocolate chess pie for Christmas dessert. It was so good!
We did 3 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzles. This was one that was finished-missing a piece. Hmmmm.  It was wonderful having both sons home. So hard to say good-bye.
Each year after the holidays I am ready to get going again. I am forcing myself  to show you this shot of my master bathroom under the sink. I am ready to organize and get rid of some stuff. I will show you the after when I get it done. I thought I'd start with an easy doable project. I plan on revamping our home filing cabinet. I am cleaning today while making 10 bean soup for dinner, because it finally got cold here.
Great day to stay in and do a little winter decorating, now that the Christmas stuff is all put away.
I hope your holidays were great. Thank you so much for following along on my adventures and projects. My mind is whirring with lists of things to do. Happy January!
Leslie

  1. I know it was so wonderful to have your sons home, and look at all that baking going on!! I love seeing when friends show us the inside of their cabinets. I look forward to your "after" results, Leslie. Your sweet vignette at e end of your post, with one of your darling snowmen made my heart sigh. Enjoy making all those soups. That's exactly what I've been doing, too. Happy New Year, Leslie!

  2. Hi Leslie, What a wonderful time you had with your sons home. Looks like a lot of fun was enjoyed by all. I know it was hard to see them go!! Love the puzzle with the piece missing. Gives it some vintage character!! Cleaning cabinets is on my to do list for 2017 too. Getting organized is always an accomplishment. Love your coffee table vignette.
Soup sounds delicious for our cold spell. Loving the blast of winter however. It's a great indoor motivator. Happy New Year!!

    1. Thank you, Shelia. It was so nice having them at home. It's a big job putting all the Christmas stuff away, but then it feels like a clean slate. Good luck on yours!

  5. It sounds like you had a wonderful holiday with your 2 sons home, Leslie! I just love when our family is all together and cherish those moments, too. Now I'm craving a homemade caramel roll with my coffee! Yum!

I'm packing things away and creating a donate pile with all the decorations I haven't used for a while. It feels so good to create some empty space on my storage shelves!

It's bitterly cold (-25) here, and I'm going to put on a pot of stuffed peppers to keep us warm tonight.

    Happy organizing!

Dr joy is a trust worthy spell caster and he will be of great help to you. I never believed in spell casting but After 4 years of marriage my husband left me because I lost my womb, and i was unable to give birth to children. I felt like my life has come to an end, and i almost committed suicide, i was emotionally down for a very long time, but thanks to this spell caster called Dr joy whom i met online after my friend Becky Ross told me how he also helped her to bring back her husband in less than 2 days. I believed her and decided to give Dr joy a try and i contacted him on his email joylovespell@gmail.com. and explained my problems to him. He laughed and told me that In less than 2 days, my Husband will come back to me again, and that he will restore my womb and i will give birth to children. At first i thought it was a joke but i took courage and believed as Dr joy has said and it did happen just as this Great spell caster said, My husband called me and was crying, begging for forgiveness. I forgive him and today i am so glad that all worries and problems has gone away, and we are even happier than before, another good news is that i am pregnant now, and very soon we will have our baby. Dr joy is really a gifted and a powerful spiritual man and i will not stop publishing him because he is a wonderful man.
