It's Rednesday! Thank you Sue from It's a Very Cherry World for hosting. Here is one of my childs tea sets.
I love children's tea sets. I think the graphics are great. I'd love to collect more , but the prices are way too high for me.
This set is plastic and is complete. I've never seen one like it. The tray has ladybugs on it.
Last is my thrift store afghan that I got for 97 cents! Love the shade of red.
I want to thank Sally of Sally Annie Magundy for my first blog award. The Trendy Blogger Award. I was so excited. I am having a hard time doing links today-Blogger is not cooperating.I can't get the image up. Sorry. I will pass this award on to some old and new blog friends. Please go check them out-they have alot to offer.

ReplyDeleteHi Leslie!
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome! :) Blogger seems to seriously nutty lately.
OH! I love your tea sets, so very precious. I especially love the skaters.
Did I misunderstand about your quilt (you showed recently) being 97 cents or did you get two things for 97 cents a piece??? I want to move to where you live. ;)
Happy Rednesday,
Sally
Thank you so much for the award. I love the idea of being "trendy". I was just getting ready to stop over for a bit of red and saw your comment to me. So then I ran over to hi and thank you. By the way, I am drooling over your little red sewing machine that you showed earlier, I so would love to find one, just like that.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day and I will be doing a proper blog thank you later this week.
Hi Leslie, I love your darling "RED" teasets, they are adorable. Thank you for visiting and leaving your kind comment on my "Strolling Along Memory Lane..."REDNESDAY"! I couldn't believe my eyes when I found this wicker carriage with the "RED" and white gingham hood and "RED" wheels.
ReplyDeleteHugz,

ReplyDeleteI love your tea sets, and would love to have a set too, but as you said they are so expensive. I'll keep my eyes open at the flea market this summer, and maybe I can help you add to your collection!
Happy REDnesday!

Congratulations on your award! The tea set is amazing, I haven't seen one like it either! I had purchased some vintage plastic cups and saucers in orange and yellow for my daughter, but it did not have the teapot. What a find you have! Happy Rednesday!

Congratulations on your award! Children's dishes pull at my heartstrings. You have a wonderful collection. Twyla
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the award. I have never been one to follow the trends. I prefer to make my own. But if being crafty, and loving retro/vintage is now trendy, then count me in. I see I'm supposed to pass this on to other bloggers that I like. I've found so many new ones lately, this may take me a bit.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the Dutch children on the tea set. Adorable!
I just love the little tim teas sets!!!! So many cute graphics...but I agree they are really expensive! I love the plastic dishes too, every year Santa would bring me a new set from the Sears Catalog! :)
ReplyDeleteThose little tea sets are adorable!
