Extreme Makeover

Here is the before-
And here he is after. Quite a difference. Max is sitting on my best thrift store find from yesterday. I almost missed it. The price-hold on to your hats-97 cents. It's full size and in great condition, I couldn't believe it!
These are small conductor scores-there was a bunch of them, I may go back and pick up a few more. Great for crafts.
I've been seeing all these wonderful tablescapes from alot of the bloggers and when I saw these all seperated at GW I felt a patriotic tablescape for two coming on. I've never done one-in fact my dishes are white. So I thought I might have fun with these. I even got the striped sheet to use as a tablecloth..
Of course I can't pass up ME stuff. Too cute. THose are my treasures from yesterday. I'll be holed up here next week-the tile is going down, starting on Monday. Have a great week-end!

Again I want to thank you all for your comments. I look forward to reading them all. I have a question-what is the correct way to respond to a question on the comments. Do you go to their blog to answer, email them, or post the answer on your own comments. Wasn't sure what to do on that. And I want to respond, but not get in the way of your blogs. Help!

Leslie

  3. Answering questions..sometimes I do both. If it is a question that others might would like to know the answer..I answer right on the comment area..now mind you most never go back to that area once they post a comment.
Soo. I always answer their questions in the reply area of an email.
If their e-mail is a non-reply email address..then I go their blog and answer the Question under their new comment area. I hope this helps. lol
I love the haircut!!And that quilt..are you kidding me..Good find!!

  4. Hi Leslie!
Max is the cutest! He's quite the Dapper Dan now, with his blue ascot. ;)
I love your quilt. 97 cents! That may well be the best deal ever. They need to get their heads examined, yes indeedy. Lucky you! Enjoy!
Re your blog question - I don't know what blogging etiquette is but I generally answer people on my blog and theirs - which is probably the wrong answer but then I'm into overkill and making myself do more work than I need to. Geez. I'm such a noodlehead.
Hoping your new tile goes down quickly! Can't wait to see it!
    Happy weekend to you,
    Sally
P.S. Good thing you asked that question because I just realized that I never said thank you to you about the Frozen Charlotte info!!! Sorry! I came down with a miserable cold and totally forgot. Thank you thank you thank you.

  5. Your pup looks adorable all trimmed up. Great finds at GW! Wow!!
I'm glad you asked about where to reply to a comment on your blog. I have been wondering the same thing. Chances are, they aren't going to return to read your post comments again, but leaving your comment on their latest post will be completely off topic. What to do???

  8. Hi Leslie~I am laughing so hard at your "extreme makeover". Even had to call hubby over to the computer to have a look. He swears that it is not the same dog! I love it. Guess Max was needing his summer cut. :)
I am blown away by your quilt purchase....I'd wrap myself up in it and roll all around for .97!!
    Congratulations,
