Touch O' The Green

It's pouring rain here. Dark, windy and whipping outside. Here's my little Shamrock man. He's from my Mom, who had a little Irish in her, so I guess I do too.

This little shelf is in my bedroom.
Little chalkware sheep. They remind me of spring.
I shared my hallway gallery wall a few posts ago. This little gallery is in my master bathroom, in the comode room to be exact. Needless to say it's a teeny tiny room, and I have a hard time getting a photo. Every print in here is something I copied from one of my vintage books. I collected vintage frames for long time, so that each one would have a unique frame.
The pictures all have something in common. Can you guess what it is?

They all have a tree in them, and most have pictures of children.
Just thought I'd pop in today. I hope the weather clears up soon so I can get out to buy my corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's Day next week. I'll be back on Friday to show my breakfast nook decked out for spring. I'll be joining the Bluebonnet Blog Hop. See you then, if I don't blow away before.

  1. Hi Leslie, Love your St. Patrick's decor. The little shamrock boy is adorable.
Corned beef and cabbage sounds so good. I may have to make it this year too.
Love your gallery wall in your master bath. Love the theme of little ones and trees. So vintage and I love the frames you collected.
Love the little sheep and I had a set of those with my parents vintage manger set from the 40's. My son has them now and brings them out at Christmas, but I love seeing them for spring. Love your bedroom shelf with pink and green. So pretty. Have a nice evening and stay dry!! xo

    1. Thanks, Celeste. So nice you gave your vintage sheep to your son to pass them on. Let me know if you make a corned beef and cabbage. You stay dry too, although I think that will be hard to do this week.

  2. Every single picture in your gallery wall is adorable! I love old images of children, and you've matched them up so nicely with old frames. And your shelf with your pretty flowered china pieces and Shamrock man sets the tone for spring. I need to dig through my bins and get some spring going on here! Thanks for sharing and have a great week, Leslie!
