Christmas With the Sweets

What is one to do in freezing temperatures? Decorate the Sweet Shoppe of course.
Here is Mrs. Sweet cleaning up after cookie baking.
More gingerbread men to cut out.
The tree is up in the shoppe.
Mr. Sweet came down for a cup of coffee and piece of pie. He has his  Christmas gift for Mrs. Sweet.
 Stockings are hung.
 More goodies.
Look at her little Christmas Tree pin and vintage apron.
If you want to see the outside of the Sweet Shoppe decorated for Christmas click here. A little note-Mrs. Swwet changed her hair do since last year. ha ha.
Here's some of our decor. This is my entryway and dining room.
I decided to do snow theme and keep it silver and white.
Salt shaker Santas that I made from vintage shakers and a pretty house from Home Goods.

The bird cage is lit up.

More Christmas decor to come next week. Today is the first day out after the ice storm. There is still alot of ice, but the roads are getting better. We weathered the storm by watching movies, decorating the tree , baking and eating. Hope you all are having better weather too. Enjoy!

Christmas at the Sweet Shoppe

One of my favorite things is the Dollhouse Sweet Shoppe. It's all decked out for Christmas this year.
Mrs. Smith and her little dog Candy are just finishing up".Where to put that last wreath? "
It was fun building the snowman. We'll call him Frosty.
It's getting colder out here. I wish I had stored these lights better last year. They are in a tangle!
Better go back in -It's starting to snow again. We'll sit and have a cup of cocoa and bake some gingerbread for the shop.
Kim at Musings from Kim K. made me do it! I'm so glad I did. What fun it is to play. I'm linking to My Favorites Things at Mocking Bird Hill Cottage. Go check out everyone else's faves. Come on back later this week to see some more Christmas Decor. This time in the real house! We're off to a Historic holiday Home tour. Have a great weekend!

Dollhouse Sweet Shoppe

Come on in to The Sweet Shoppe. We are open for business.
Sit down and enjoy a homemade piece of cake or pie.
We also have cookies and donuts and cupcakes.
Candy and chocolates are in the hutch. There's twine and scissors to wrap up your goodies. See Little Max in his basket?
This is where we make our goodies. There's a n apple pie coming out of the oven. Little kitten is staying warm under the stove.
She didn't notice Miss Mouse is out for a stroll.
Put the dirty dishes in here. I'll wash them later.
My red and white enamelware coffee pot is always on the stove.
Making some gingerbread men at the table.
Hope you enjoyed the tour. Come back soon!
For those of you who haven't seen my doll house, I bought the shell at an antique mall and fixed it up. I added the door and windows and everything inside. It was a really fun project and could become addictive! I was inspired by Turkey Feathers Dollhouse Bakery. I'm linking up to It's a Very Cherry World for Rednesday. Please check out more fun Reds.

Red Dollhouse at Brookhollow Lane

Hi- come on in to the Sweet Shoppe. In honor of Rednesday from It's a Very Cherry World
I thought I'd show my little dollhouse. The bakery was inspired by Turkey Feathers Dollhouse Bakery.

I found the dollhouse shell at an Antique mall for $14. I added the door the attic window and flooring and furniture. I had the most fun doing all the decor, just like for a real house.
I wish I had a sink like that in my real kitchen. Looks like they are making gingerbread men!
Anyway I hope you enjoyed my little tour. The Sweet Shoppe is always open for business! Happy Rednesday!
