A Little of This and That

We had a really nice Easter weekend. I hope you did too. I've been doing little things around here. These Iris's were from son on Easter.
I've been working on a cute embroidery. I'll share soon-it's almost finished.
We've been planning a garden corner. Hubs dug out the grass this weekend.
Thrift shop footstool -before-
And after. I used recycled wool for the cover. It will go in the office.
I used homemade chalkpaint, sanded it a little and waxed it.Staple new fabric and done.I love that you can stash things in it.
I've been admiring our flowers that have bloomed. Spring is here!!!
I'm trying to finish spring cleaning-well at least start it. Definitely have spring fever around here. Hope you all have a great week!

    I can't wait to see your finished embroidery! Your garden will look gorgeous after you get some pretty things planted in that corner. Don't you love that wonderful purple-blue color of Irises? Ooh, really nice footstool re-do, too. It looks sooooo much better now.

    Can't wait to see more of your embroidery. Great transformation on the footstool too. Spring has certainly arrived at your house! Your yard looks so green. We're so brown and ugly outside. I feel like our house and yard needs a good spring cleaning. I think I'll be spending the end of our spring break in a cleaning frenzy. Hugs!

    Love your embroidery. We have got some much needed rain so will have to wait now before we can til our garden. Love your bench I think it turned out great. Sounds like you have a lot of energy to spring clean do you want to share? lol

    Excellent job on the footstool! Using chalk paint for that is something I wouldn't have thought of.

    Sounds like you have quite a few things on your plate! I guess that comes with the territory ;).
