I had to keep Christmas decor to a minimum with the pupster around. He 's still getting into everything. You didn't think I'd go all white in the whole house, did you? I couldn't live with out my red. So it's in the kitchen and family room. These pic's are in no particular order.
A cute tray I thrifted and added the chalkboard paint in the middle.
My wooden ornament stash looks so festive I put it on the coffee table. Nothing for Bowie to get into.
Above the piano. Cute cigar box scene from Kim K.
I found these for $2.50 each at World Market yesterday. So cute on the kitchen tree.
We still have to finish the tree when the kids can get together. I have more shopping, baking and cooking to do.I also have a bunch of Christmas movies I want to watch. I hope I can find the time. What about you? Are you ready? Just remember-don't sweat the small stuff.
Leslie
I love it all. So many fun vignettes. I will keep visiting this over and over again to take it all in. That miniature red stove is absolutely precious and your feather tree with the child-sized tea cups and baking supplies is precious. Maybe I need to find more room in my kitchen and do the same thing!
ReplyDeleteI love your little kitchen tree! And putting all the ornaments in a jar is a great way to enjoy them without the dog getting into them.
ReplyDeleteEverything is so sweet! Love all your vintage Christmas books and that darling ice skating book. Have fun finishing decorating and getting ready for Christmas! xo Heather
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Is not having the tree up yet considered small stuff??
ReplyDeleteLove the reds. You have a wonderful collection of vintage reds. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteChristmas with the "Sweets" is so cute! Love the dining room decor! Love the red in your kitchen. So cheery!

You have so many cute old things you've used to decorate your home, Leslie! Your wonderful old books, your mantel with the warm wood window, your kitchen cupboard filled with red goodies, I love it all! Your polka dot tablecloth is a fun addition to the room and it belongs in the pages of my favorite ME Home Companion if it were to be published again! Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas,
Amy Jo
You didn't fool me, I knew there was some (lots) of red waiting in the wings, ready for the holidays! :) So merry and festive Leslie, everything so darling. Sorry Bo is still at that age - we went to my husbands best friends xmas party over the weekend and his dog (4 yrs old) was VERY interested in the food. Poor thing, it was right at nose height for her, too tempting. (Martin told us she ate an entire cheese ball on Thanksgiving hahahahhahaha)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and your family!
Everything is so adorable!!! I just love all your sweet Christmas decorations!!! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! xo Holly
