After the Party and Little Treasures

I am still trying to get through the list on Where Bloggers Create-I have found so many great ideas, and some really awesome craft rooms and studios. Thank you for all the wonderful comments on my space and on my dolls. Amazing how many creative women are out there.

Thought I'd show you a few garage sale and antique store finds from last week. Above is this cute little girl-she's the second one I've found. Does anyone know anything about these? No markings. It seems like they all have that little pattern on the dress and they come in different colors and always holding different things. Love the face.

I'll add this to my metal tea set collection-love the blue-it's alittle dented, but well loved.
Bought the embroidered pink and gray for 50 cents at a church sale and the Easter tablecloth below at a garage sale.
Many of the comments I received about my craft room were-how neat and tidy-well that was my space cleaned up. I took this before-this is what my desk looks like when I'm scrapping-I know- there's no place to work.
And here's my ottoman that you are supposed to put your feet on- more paper. The scraps are thrown on the floor. I keep big scraps and the trash finally makes it into the trash can when I'm done with a project. Sorry to mislead you all-here's the real room!
Hope you all have a great day!

  1. Now that is what I like to see..someone as messy as me..when crafting..Just keeping it real!! lol

What is the background behind the darling little girl?

    Hugs..Cindy from Rick-Rack and Gingham

  2. I cleaned up my craft area a few months ago....and now I seriously can't find anything! There is definitely something to be said for orderly chaos, and that's what I call mine.
I absolutely love that little girl figurine! I'm going to look on Ebay for one. I just can't figure out what to type in the search box! And like Cindy, I love what's going on behind her too.
    Have a great day Leslie!

  3. Hi Leslie!
I love your little figurine, she's so sweet.
I've only made it through the D's or the E's of the participants in Where Bloggers Create ... it may stretch out into the holiday season, I'm such a slow poke.
Now that's more like it! Creative chaos, that's where I live!!! ;)
    Happy Tuesday to you,

  4. Hi Leslie! What sweet finds :) There is nothing wrong with being a little messy, that's how we get so creative. Have a great week!! ~ Laura

  5. Wow, what treasure you have there! I love your crafting space too, your little table with that sewing machine, that's my favorite! Love those colors in the white mug too! Thanks for sharing! And thanks for stopping by my blog to say hello! : )
